Australian government started to phase-out incandescent bulbs in 2009. Although you are not strictly required to adopt light source that meet lighting legislation. So if you are insisting to adopt your non-energy efficient lamps, it will be difficult for you to find its replacement bulb after it burnt out.
So when choosing a light, it’s important to consider whether its replacement bulb is easy to access.
